Today’s guest is Dr. Lindsey Swanson Schriefer (Sh-ree-fer). Dr. Schriefer serves as a licensed psychologist who guides individuals along their unique path to their full potential. She provides sport psychology consultation and psychoeducational evaluation services in the greater Atlanta area and we are very honored to have her sit down with us today. Over the past decade, Dr. Schriefer has worked with many diverse clients in a variety of settings, including college counseling centers, inpatient hospitals, and private practice. She has particular expertise in sport psychology. Dr. Schriefer has worked with both amateur and professional athletes in a variety of sports to manage performance anxiety, improve communication with teammates and coaches, recover from injury, and cope with disappointment and failure. Much of her work with athletes involves strengthening their mental game to enhance their performance and reach their potential. Dr. Schriefer also conducts psychoeducational evaluations to better understand a student's learning strengths and weaknesses and identify any learning or attention issues that are impeding academic success.
