Today we have the pleasure of sitting down with Athletic Director Phillip Lansdell and Head Basketball Coach Jimmy Porter of El Dorado High School in EL Dorado, Arkansas. Their boys basketball team was recently featured on ABC News when their team played Lake Hamilton high school in Percey, Arkansas. The night featured Andy Tolleson, a special needs student-manager, who played in the game and made a memory of a lifetime for him and anyone who was in attendance or who has seen the news piece.
But it was the actions of the El Dorado players...the opponent that struck us. Their ability to not only be in the moment but a part of the moment was something we just had to get to thew bottom of, so we reached out to Phillip and he and his coach Jimmy agreed to take the time to discuss the night and sportsmanship in general.
